Working with Breanna was a literal and figurative walk in the (Ping Tom Memorial) park. We met up for an afternoon on the south bank of the Chicago River to capture some chic stills in the last days of summer, but it was really Breanna who brought the heat. She is a pro: from her effortlessly pretty posing to her soul searching smolder, I had so much to work with. We were also flush with scenic options, and had a great time putting together different angles as we followed the park’s pathways.
Unpopular opinion: the people who say your engagement is supposed to be “all about you” are wrong.
I’m savoring these last hot sunny days with these shots of Olivia from our last shoot together this summer. Olivia redid her website and needed fresh photos to align her current artistic energy and vision with her virtual representation. While our first shoot was a soft, spontaneous evening exploration along the coast, our press kit shoot was a direct, bold expression of Olivia’s drive and passion for her craft. She went from a casual purple floral maxi dress with sneakers to a bombshell Vera Wang gown and heels, and between these two shoots we barely covered a fraction of Olivia’s many facets. Until our next collaboration, enjoy these pics of this stunning soul, and cross your fingers she comes back from London for more shoots with me soon!
