A gorgeous couple, these photos make me forget they’re not actually together in real life. Surprising, right? Sanya and Muhammad had such amazing chemistry after working together on previous shoots and were the perfect pair to create these dreamy Autumn engagement scenes with. We headed to the The Garden of the Pheonix on Jackson Park's Wooded Island across from the Museum of Science and Industry for some romance among the rocks and luxurious landscaping.
Believe it or not, these first few pictures were meant to be test shots for equipment and lighting! So good, right out the gate.
What is usually a running fountain became the perfect backdrop and playground for added texture and drama.
Like so many brides (and models alike) are choosing to these days as the pandemic continues, Sanya did her own makeup and styling. Shooting details like these are among my favorites!
Muhammad completed his styling solo as well, with great care put into every choice.
I was masked and socially distanced throughout the shoot, but let me tell you: my mask was not even half as gorgeous as this intricately embroidered piece.
To close out this dreamy shoot, I captured a few stills of the surrounding park and water. It truly was a dreamy setting, and a hidden gem in Hyde Park I'll absolutely be returning to!
